Tribute to the fallen
Though the day was a brilliant day,
But consisted of evil.
Stepped out to find daily bread,
Encroached by death your path.
Taken away you are from us,
But resided are you in our memory.
In our hearts,you linger on
As they sink into oblivion.
If we are related,
We shall meet at the feet of our lord.

Though we cried our hearts out
With gnashing of teeth.
But you laugh the last laughter into paradise,
While they laugh their first laughter into hell.
As against their belief and it is vice-versa.
Withdrawn are you from us,
But you live in our mind eyes;
While they fade into obscurity.
If we are related,
We shall meet at the feet of our lord.

Though you are untimely taken away,
But your memory lingers on in our minds.
As you increase in our hearts,
They decrease with every passing day.
If we are related,
We shall meet at the feet of our lord.
